We honor Gil Scott Heron with this commemorative shirt. The design is based off his 1981 album Reflections. The original collage by artist Mei-Tei-Sing Smith depicts the oppressive political environment of the early 80s Reagan era and it's tragic relevancy today. Many of the architects of our contemporary political structure started their careers under Reagan. Her collage also depicts a creative response to these conditions by those who most bare the brunt of this culture. This dichotomy is a perfect representation of Gil’s message.
Due to the current Covid19 Outbreak, orders can be placed, but may not be printed or delivered for up to 2 months, depending on your location. This design will come on a Red, Gildan heavyweight tee.
